Cognitive Behavioral Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness for anxiety, stress and phobias.

"Some of the worst things in my life never happened.”
— Mark Twain
Anxiety often convinces us that something bad is about to happen — even when there is no real danger.
Over time, this constant state of alert can become exhausting, affecting sleep, confidence, concentration and enjoyment of daily life.
For some, anxiety shows up as persistent worry.
For others, it appears in specific situations — such as flying, driving, public speaking or medical procedures.
These responses can feel overwhelming.
But they are also highly treatable.
A Calm, Evidence-Based Approach
The British Medical Journal highlights Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and applied relaxation as among the most effective treatments for anxiety.
When these approaches are combined with Clinical Hypnotherapy, the results can be even more powerful — helping both mind and body learn a calmer response.
Anxiety is often a learned pattern.
With the right support, it can be gently unlearned.
How We Work Together
1. Understanding Your Experience
We begin with a conversation.
This allows you to share how anxiety, stress or phobias show up in your life — and helps me understand how best to support you.
2. Practical Tools for Change
From the second session onwards, we usually introduce CBT-informed techniques to help you develop:
✔ Practical coping skills
✔ New ways of responding to anxious thoughts
✔ Greater emotional stability
As we progress, Clinical Hypnotherapy may be introduced — only if it feels right for you.
Hypnosis is never an obligation.
Many people experience the deeply relaxed hypnotic state as calming in itself, allowing the nervous system to step out of constant alert.
When used, hypnotherapy is combined with relaxation, visualisation and confidence-building techniques to support:
✔ A greater sense of safety
✔ Increased confidence
✔ Calm responses in previously triggering situations
3. Lasting Change
Our work focuses not only on easing anxiety in specific situations, but also on reducing overall tension and background worry.
Many clients notice a difference early on.
To support lasting change, I usually recommend a short series of 4–6 sessions.
This allows you to practise and integrate what you learn — so your calmer response becomes natural, not temporary.

Frequently asked questions
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients notice a difference within 1–2 sessions. For lasting change I recommend more. There is no guarantee but CBT is a time-sensitive method and I work in a way that 1) you feel better after every session and 2) you learn the tools so you progress rapidly.
Do I have to be hypnotised?
No — hypnosis is never an obligation. Many clients benefit from CBT and mindfulness alone. Especially in anxiety related topics long held guided hypnosis is healing in itself, but its not about the methods, its about what you want and need. We ‘ll find together the best options for you.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes — I work with clients worldwide online, as well as in person in Mallorca. Sessions are in English, Spanish and German.
What is the difference between CBT and hypnotherapy?
CBT works with conscious thought patterns. Hypnotherapy works at a deeper level helping the mind and body learn calmer responses. Combined, they are more powerful than either alone. Both, as Mindfulness I work with, are evidence based, backed by science.
