Yoga is skill in action.

— Bhagavad Gita

My path into yoga began through martial arts and gymnastics and has evolved into a therapeutic, skill-based practice that supports real life. I’ve been teaching Yoga in Mallorca since 2011, blending Martial Arts, Chi Kung, TCM, Mindfulness and Meditation to build awareness, resilience and presence.

The styles I am influenced by are: Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Synergy Yoga and Yin Yoga. My teaching is shaped by now almost 30 years of practice in East-Asian methods..

Much like my CBT sessions, yoga is about learning practical skills: how to regulate your nervous system, stay focused, meet challenges with clarity, and respond rather than react. Yoga enriches life by strengthening and softening the body while deepening our understanding of ourselves and our connection to the world.

I specialise in 1:1 private sessions, in person or online, to create meaningful and lasting change. Whether you’re seeking physical support, emotional balance or personal growth, I’d love to walk alongside you on this journey. Yoga is for everyone — all ages and conditions — what matters most is your openness and willingness to grow.

I also teach selected public classes in Mallorca :

MON, Alaró, 09.30 - 1045 Mindfull Monday- Skillfull Flow

TUE; Alaró, 18.15 - 19.30 Yin Yoga/ Mindfulness

Areas I work with

Smoking Cessation

I quit smoking with hypnotherapy 13 years ago and can’t recommend it highly enough. According to studies, hypnosis is the most effective way to help you quit smoking. You are 5 to 15 times more likely to give up smoking with hypnotherapy than by willpower alone. My goal is for you to become a healthy, happy non-smoker after just one session. If you’ve tried to give up smoking before and gone back to the habit, don’t worry. The number of failed attempts is a positive predictor of your final success. This is my process: We have a free call in which we talk about your motivation and situation and whether now is the right moment for you to quit. If you’re in a severely stressful situation, I wouldn’t recommend trying to quit. If you decide to work with me, we’ll set a date. A week before this, I’ll ask you to provide me with some information to help me customise your session. I’ll also send you an audio (self-hypnosis instructions) to prepare you. Our session will be 3 hours. It will be intense and comprehensive but fun. During the session, we’ll do several CBT exercises, and finish with a hypnosis. I will record all exercises for you so you can use them to stay on track during those difficult first few days. If you struggle, you have my contact. I offer a free 1-hour booster session, to ensure you make it. I would love to help you to be finally free of smoking.

Irritable Bowl Syndrome (IBS)

If you suffer from IBS, you’ll know that drugs/medicines only work for a limited amount of time and that diets are simply not sustainable. You may well also be aware that, although IBS is stress-related, doctors don’t really know its root cause. IBS is diagnosed by ruling out other illnesses. It’s a chronic disorder but there’s a solution to it. Gut-directed Hypnotherapy offers a proven remedy. One study found that ‘symptom severity scores, noncolonic symptoms, quality of life, anxiety and depression significantly all improved after HT’. Additionally, the study reassessed participants annually and they found that 81 % of patients maintained their treatment gains fully to up to five years. This is my process: Before I can treat you, I ask for medical proof that you have been diagnosed with IBS and that your symptoms don’t relate to something more serious. You will need your doctor to refer you for an IBS hypnotherapy treatment. We’ll start with a chat so I can establish what will work in your individual case. We will need 6 sessions over a minimum of 6 weeks – maximum 12 weeks. I recommend starting with weekly 2-hour sessions to build up momentum before moving to a 1-hour session every 2 weeks, allowing you the time to apply what you’re learning to your daily life. I will record these for you so you can use them to stay on track after the sessions have finished. We’ll stay in touch so I can monitor your progress after the treatment has finished. You may want a follow-up boost session after 3 months to make sure it’s still effective (not always necessary).

Anxiety, Stress and Phobias

"Some of the worst things in my life never happened." ~Mark Twain The British Medical Journal recommends Applied Relaxation and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as the two most powerful therapies for anxiety. Combining these two therapies with clinical hypnosis makes the treatment even more effective. Underlying anxiety can manifest itself in many different symptoms and can have a severely damaging effect on those who suffer from it. Phobias are so common but also so treatable. Cognitive-behavioural techniques have an excellent record for helping people overcome their fears. The additional use of hypnosis enhances the rate of improvement and the profundity and permanence of the change. I aim for my sessions to be life-changing. Not to be a quick fix for now. You'll immediately notice the difference after one treatment - although four to six sessions are usually recommended to deepen your newly learned abilities and ensure that it is a permanent response rather than a temporary fix. By teaching you relaxation techniques, natural self-confidence and using visualisation exercises whilst under hypnosis you'll find anxiety and stress related to particular situations is finished - as well as lowering of general anxiety levels and tension in the body. Do you want to be free from Anxiety or Stress? Are you looking to permanently and rapidly change how you think, feel or act? Do particular events, situations or people cause you to feel anxious or fearful? Are you constantly in a state of varying Anxiety to some extent? With Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Hypno-CBT) you can learn to be free from Anxiety.

Addictions, Weight Management and Behavioural Habits

The addictions and behavioural habits I treat with hypnotherapy include drinking, drug use, over-eating, nail-biting and hair pulling among others. My goal is for you to become addicted to the new you, rather than remain trapped in your previous idea of yourself as, for example, an alcoholic or ex-user. I help you identify with new ways of thinking, feeling and acting and become a free, healthy person. This is my process: We’ll begin with a chat so I can tailor a programme that is right for you. Depending on the severity of your addition or habit, we’ll normally need between 4 and 6 sessions. With weight management, we’ll arrive at a way of living, moving and eating that works for your individual circumstances. If I’m treating you for simple habits, I’ll use habit reversal training in a single 2-hour session with a 1-hour follow-up session 7-14 days later. This is proven to be remarkably effective. One study showed an average 90% reduction in the habit after the 2-hour session, improving to a 97% reduction in the habit after one month (Nunn & Azrin, 1977). Your treatment will include me sharing tools to prevent you relapsing. Relapse is prevented by making sure that my clients have the resources – positive habits and understanding – to stay on their chosen path of being free from their habit. You will leave the sessions feeling well-prepared for your new life. With easy-to-applicable tools supporting your healthy and free being.

Low Confidence

We all have times when we lack confidence and do not feel good about ourselves. When low self-esteem and lack of confidence become a long-term problem, it can negatively impact our mental health, our day-to-day lives, relationships, work and study. This is my process: We’ll start with a chat about your low confidence and what you think its roots might be. In our sessions, I’ll use mindfulness, CTB and hypnosis to find out more about your negative thought patterns and core beliefs. Together we’ll plant new seeds of acceptance and ease with yourself to enable you to walk through life with faith and courage. Depending on you, you’ll feel an improvement after the first session but sometimes between 3 and 6 sessions bare recommended.
