1. A free discovery call — finding out if we fit Before anything else, I offer a free 15-minute call. This isn't just a formality — it matters to me that we feel like a good fit for each other. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful outcomes. If I feel I'm not the right person for you, I'll tell you honestly and help you find someone who is.
2. Understanding your experience We begin with a conversation about how low mood or low self-esteem shows up for you — when it started, what maintains it, and what you'd like to be different. There's no rush and no judgement.
3. Exploring patterns and beliefs Using CBT-informed techniques and mindfulness, we gently explore the thought patterns, core beliefs and emotional habits that keep you feeling stuck, flat or not good enough. Understanding is always the first step towards change.
4. Building a new relationship with yourself Session by session, we work on developing greater self-acceptance, emotional ease and a more compassionate inner voice. Clinical hypnosis may be introduced to support this at a deeper level — always optional, always at your pace.
5. Lasting change and self-support The aim is not dependency on therapy but the opposite — equipping you with tools and insight that you carry with you long after our sessions end. You learn to be your own support.

How many sessions will I need? This varies more than with other areas of work — low mood and self-esteem are often more layered. I respect your time and investment and work as efficiently as possible. We review progress regularly and you are always in control of how long we work together.
What is the discovery call for? It's a chance for us to talk briefly — about what brings you, what you're hoping for, and whether we feel like a good fit. The relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important ingredients in successful therapy. I take that seriously.
Do you offer online sessions? Yes — I work with clients worldwide online, as well as in person in Mallorca. Sessions are available in English, Spanish and German.
Do I have to be hypnotised? No — hypnosis is never an obligation. Many clients benefit from CBT and mindfulness alone. Hypnotherapy is introduced only if and when it feels right for you, for us.
